44: Gyro Sensor
To Access the Gyro Sensor
The 12X features a Gyro Gain system that allows for the
individual in-flight selection of gain setting for each active flight
mode. To access the Gyro function, at least three flight modes
must be activated in Device Select and the Moto channel (CH
1. Highlight and select GYRO SENS. in the FUNC.LIST.
2. Use the Rolling Selector to select the gain position to
be adjusted, and then press and roll the Rolling Selector
to increase or decrease the gain values as needed. Gain
setting will automatically be selected via the flight mode
switch.
The Rudder-to-Spoiler mix causes the spoiler to move in unison
with rudder. This mix can be utilized to improve the turning/
handling characteristics, especially on landings. Rudder-to-
Spoiler mix values can be independently adjusted for each of
the 5 flight modes.
46: Rudder-to-Spoiler Mix
To Access Rudder-to-Spoiler Mix
1. In FUNC.LIST rotate the Selector until RUDD
SPOI is
highlighted. Press the Selector to access the Rudder-to-
Spoiler mix menu.
2. Rotate the Selector to highlight the desired value
corresponding to the flight mode and then press the
Selector to access that value. With the flight mode switch
5) must be programmed to GYR in device select code 17 and
the gyro gain lead must be plugged into the Moto (channel 5)
receiver port.
Note
: Dual spoilers must be activated in Wing Type in
order to access the Rudder-to-Spoiler mix.

rotate the Selector to achieve the desired spoiler mix value.
Pressing the Selector will store the value.
3. Press the LIST button to return to the Function Mode
screen.
