This Wing Type function is used to establish the programming

for wing and tail types. The Wing Type program allows the

activation of V-tail, Tip ailerons, dual elevators, dual rudders,

dual flaps and dual spoilers.

To access Wing type in System mode list, rotate the Selector

to highlight Wing TYPE. Press the Selector to access the wing

type screen.

If your sailplane has a V-tail, activate the V-tail function by

highlighting INH and pressing the Selector.

The Function Mode contains programming that is used to

complete the setup and then to adjust the sailplane’s flight

characteristics. Functions include Servo Reversing, Travel

Adjust, Dual Rate and Expo, Sub Trim, Servo Speed, Flaperon

mixes, Camber system, Differential, Programmable Mixes, Gyro

programming, brake system, Trainer and Timer functions, etc.

Many of these functions are frequently used to adjust the flight

characteristics during set up and at the field.

With the transmitter on, press LIST and the Function list will

appear.

: In order to activate any of the Dual Mate functions

(dual elevator, rudder or flaps), channels must be inhibited

in 17. Device Select. See page S-19 for details on

activating and inhibiting channels.

If your sailplane has Tip ailerons, activate the Tip aileron

function by highlighting and pressing the selector.

If your sailplane has dual elevators, dual rudders or dual flaps,

activate the function by highlighting INH and pressing the

Selector; then highlight the desired channel.
