Product Handling Information
Operational precautions
Use of the product in a manner not specified by the manufacturer may impair the protection
provided by the product. And it may also reduce product performance.
Exercise the following precautions.
General precautions
Do not disassemble or modify the analyzer, except as otherwise instructed in this manual.
Before turning on the power switch, check that the power voltage is appropriate.
Do not use the cord set (power cable) and other accessories with other than the
corresponding analyzer.
Carbon monoxide is highly toxic and so a high concentration of it entering the respiratory
system or even, for example, inhaling a low concentration (10 ppm or less) of it for a long
period of time is extremely dangerous. Strictly observe the following.
Check that there is no leak from the span gas line.
Connect all exhaust ports to exhausts which output to a safe outdoor location.
Adjustment of this analyzer was performed before shipment from the factory.
Do not change the settings, touch the switches, or otherwise touch the analyzer more
than necessary.
Operating precautions
This analyzer uses a high-pressure gas for calibration. When handling this analyzer, pay
attention to the following points.
Pay attention to ventilation.
Pay attention to the handling of the high-pressure gas.
Take the following safety measures when operating and maintaining the analyzer.
Do not perform disassembly and assembly work on the analyzer while the power is on.
In order to prevent electric shock and analyzer damage, disconnect the cord set (power
cable) and discharge the electrical energy from the internal circuits before performing
the work.
Pay attention to the handling of the high-pressure gas.
Attach and detach a pressure regulator properly. Secure the gas cylinder in place
properly.
Note
GA-370 does not have an explosion-proof construction. Even the special gas type specifications
are not explosion-proof, but just intended to reduce the risk of gas leaks. Take special care when
handling hazardous gases. We take no responsibility for any ignition, combustion, and explosion.
Precautions for moving
The weight of the main unit is approximately 18 kg. Observe the following when moving the
analyzer.
Do not subject the analyzer main unit to an impact.
Do not place the analyzer main unit on its side.
Use a cart or the like when moving the analyzer a long distance.
Do not move the analyzer while it is placed on another device or object.
When the analyzer is carried, the work must be performed by more than one person.
