2.5 Analyzer operation preparations

Checking the cables
Check that the cables are connected correctly.
Connect external inputs and outputs if necessary.
Check that the power source is in the rated capacity range.

Checking the gas sampling tube, exhaust tube, etc.
Recheck that the sampling tube has not become disconnected or that there are no problems
such as the exhaust tube being choked.
2.6 Analyzer startup
Start up the analyzer as described in the following procedure.
Operating procedure
1.
Turn ON the power switch.
The startup screen is display for several seconds and then the screen switches to the
MEASUREMENT screen.
For details on the MEASUREMENT screen, refer to "3.4.1 MEASUREMENT screen"
(page 29).

Allow the analyzer to warm up (four hours).
Note
Calibration can be performed approximately one hour after turning on the power, but allow the
analyzer to warm up for four hours in order to obtain accurate data. Furthermore, the warm-up time
may vary depending on the ambient temperature.
3.
Check that the event button is not displayed on the MEASUREMENT screen.
If the event button (red: alarm, black: caution/information) is displayed, press the event
button and check the event that is occurring.
