PC to HTRD400 Recorder Connection
Moving a PC From One HTRD400 Recorder to Another
Note
It is not necessary to log out or close the Toolbox or Player application when
moving from one recorder to another. However, you should click Disconnect
to end the session with the first recorder. Approximately one minute after
disconnecting, the recorder returns to its precondition state.
1.
Physically disconnect the PC from the first HTRD400 Recorder by removing the CAT5
Ethernet crossover cable from the COMPUTER port on the front panel.

Connect the PC to the COMPUTER port on the front panel of the second HTRD400
Recorder.
3.
If the recorder is not already awake (the POWER LED is solid green), briefly press the
POWER button on the front panel.
4.
When the HTRD400 Recorder appears—in the Available Recorders area on the
Toolbox Main Menu or the Recorders tab on the Explorer Pane of the Player—click
Connect.
5.
When you have finished using the Toolbox or Player application press Disconnect to
end the session with the recorder.
