HTRD BusView™ Toolbox and BusView™ 
Player Installation

This chapter describes how to install the HTRD BusView Toolbox and HTRD BusView 
Player Installation software on a PC or laptop.

Note

In this chapter:

•

The term PC refers to either a PC or a laptop.

•

BusView Toolbox and BusView Player are referred to as Toolbox and 
Player

General Software Installation Procedure

Note

To ensure that you can read, write, and modify BusView data files and 

application support files, we recommend that all BusView users be 
administrator group members of your Microsoft® Windows® 2000, 
XP Professional, or XP Home operating system.

You must be logged in to Windows 2000, XP Professional, or XP 
Home with administrator privileges to install BusView software. Also, 
all additional users should be logged off.

To ensure maximum system performance, make sure that you complete each step in the 
proper sequence:
