Warm up the engine.
NOTE:
Use a fully charged battery to check the
charging system output.
Disconnect the black wire lead from the regulator/
rectifier coupler.
Open the fuse holder and disconnect the red wire
from the holder.
Connect an ammeter and voltmeter as shown.
Start the engine and take meter readings.
The readings should match the chart.
