Remove the three flange nuts and remove the spoke
plate from the rim.
ASSEMBLY
Install the spoke plate onto the rim and tighten the
flange
nut.
TORQUE: 22-28
N·m
(2.2-2.8
kg·m,
16-20
ft·lb)
Pack all bearing cavities with grease.
Drive in the left bearing and install the distance
collar.
Then drive in the right bearing.
NOTE:
•
Drive in the bearings squarely.
• Install the bearings with the sealed ends
facing out.
•
Contaminated brake linings reduce stop
ping power. Keep grease off the linings and
brake drum.
Apply grease to the inside of the dust seal.
Install the dust seal and axle collar.
