CLUTCH/KlCKSTARTER/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE

Remove the bolt attaching the drum cam plate and

remove the plate and roller pins.

Remove the change pedal and withdraw the shift

spindle

INSPECTION

Perform the following operations:

e Check the shift arm spring for weakness.

e Check the shift return spring for weakness.

e Check the stopper spring for weakness.

e Check the shift spindle for wear or bending.
