Install the water pump
cover
with the three bolts.
Pour the recommeded coolant mixture up to the
correct lever (Page 10-3).
After installation, start the engine and check for
leaks.
THERMOSTAT /TEMPERATURE SENSOR
REMOVAL
Drain the coolant (Page 10-3).
Disconnect the radiator hose at the cylinder head.
Remove the thermostat
cover
and thermostat.
Remove the temperature sensor from the cylinder
head.
TEMPRETURE SENSOR INSPECTION
Suspend the temperature sensor in heated water to
check its resistance.
Do not let the temperature sensor touch the pan or
false readings will result.
Replace the temperature sensor if its resistance
does not meet the specifications.
