ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Place a jack under the engine.

Remove the engine mounting bolts and remove the

engine.

ENGINE INSTALLATION

Install the engine in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE

e Fill the transmission with the recommend

ed oil (Page 2-3).

• Fill the cooling system with the recom

mended coolant (Page 10-3).

Check the locations of the cables and pipes

(Page 1-7).

e Bleed air from the oil pump (Page 2-7).

• Adjust the

oil

pump control cable (Page

3-5).

• Adjust the clutch lever free play (Page

3-7).

o Install the drive chain master link properly

(Page 3-12).

• Adjust the drive chain tension (Page 3-11).
