CYLINDER HEAD/CYLINDER/PISTON
REMOVAL
On the Deluxe model, remove the under cowl
(Page 5-3).
Remove the seat, both side covers and fuef. tank.
Remove the radiator cap.
Engine must be cool before removing the
radiator cap, or severe scalding may result.
Remove the coolant drain bolt and drain the
coolant.
Disconnect the radiator hose from the cylinder
head.
Remove the spark plug cap.
Disconnect the temperature sensor wire connector.
Remove the four flange nuts attaching the cylinder
head to the cylinder.
