Saving Changed Parameters
Changes to operating modes can be saved permanently
using the “Saving operating modes in the permanent
memory” function so they are retained every time the
machine is started up.
Operating modes that are changed but not saved are
reset to the pre-change value after the machine has
been switched off.
Saving modes of operation in permanent
memory
NO* = No storage
Active = Saves the data in the permanent memory
Data acquisition in the permanent memory - after
the acquisition a three–tone acoustic signal is given.
If the operating mode must be changed permanently,
enter the desired operating mode (e.g. ON, OFF or a
scale value) and then transfer it into the permanent
memory, as described above.
7.4.1 Settings List
Selection of some functions (On / Off) and threshold
settings by the operator directly affect the Run-out
and the advanced functions that the machine might
display on screen.
From the Optima Mode, customised options can be
set for the following parameters.
SETTINGS:(Fig. 7-5)
A) Selection of Operating Mode for the current session.
Default setting: Optima Full Diagnostic.
B) Limit (threshold) for wheel radial Run-out of 1st
Harmonic. Default value: 0.7 mm.
C) Set rim run-out measurement (if set to “Limit
exceeded,” measurement is taken only if limit is
exceeded; if set to “Always,” measurement is always
taken). Default value: Always.
