To set the desired balancing mode press and hold the
ALU+ key
(Fig. 45, item 1)
.

Holding the key pressed rotate the wheel until mode
Alu 2P is shown (
Fig. 45 a
- the left weight symbol is dis-
played as long as the key is pressed).
Release the ALU+ key as soon as the desired balancing
mode is read out.

To determine the gauge application position
AP1
, pull
the distance gauge arm out of the cabinet, apply the
gauge on the rim in the center of the intended weight
position as shown in
Fig. 45b, item AP1
and hold in that
position.
The symbol for the outer weight is viewed on the display
(Fig. 45c)
.

Approach the gauge to application position
AP2
and hold
in that position.
The symbol for the inner weight is viewed on the display
(Fig. 45d)
. An audible signal is given when the distance has
been stored.

Return the distance gauge arm to its home position.

Start the measuring run.
