BATTERY MAINTENANCE

The batteries in CARAT II pro are powerful lithium-ion batteries. To obtain the full 
capacity of the batteries it is important to charge and maintain them on a regular 
basis. The number of charging cycles of lithium-ion batteries is limited. Therefore 
the batteries must be replaced and disposed, when the battery quick test fails or 
at the latest after 2 years. Tips for disposal  can be found on page 201.

Regularly check the charge state of the batteries. Operate the device via  
main power, so that the batteries are always fully charged.

CHARGING THE BATTERIES

During storage, charge the batteries every 6 months up to 100 % by operating 
the devices via mains supply.
