NOTE:
1. The IN-joint is a screw type joint. To prevent it from
loosening, retighten it occasionally.
2. The length of the drain tube is approx.1.2 m. Please
prepare a container (drain tank) with an opening through
which the end of the drain tube can be inserted.
(1) Sipper
nozzle
The sipper nozzle extends from the right part of the Auto Sipper
front panel.
Sipped samples or cleaning agents are delivered through this
nozzle into the flow cell.
Insert the end of the nozzle into a container that contains sample
or cleaning agent.
(2) Peristaltic
pump
The peristaltic pump rotates while pinching the peristaltic tube
between the roller and the lever. This pump delivers sample or
cleaning agent from the sipper nozzle to the flow cell by utilizing
the elasticity of the peristaltic tube that allows fluid to flow
continuously through it.
(3) Flow
cell
The flow cell is the sample cell to be filled with the sample
delivered through the peristaltic pump. (The specification of the
flow cell is described in the section “3.6 Specifications” of this
manual.)
