4.5 Troubleshooting
Should an abnormal state be found in the instrument, take a
corrective action, referring to Table 4-2. If the instrument still does not
function normally despite implementation of such action, contact
service office of Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation sales
representative.

The power switch has
been tuned on but the
photometer does not
start.
(1) The power cord is not
plugged.
(2) The fuse is blown.
(3) Reason other than (1)
and (2).
(1) Plug the power cord.
(2) Replace the fuse.
(3) Turn OFF the power switch and turn ON
again. If the same symptom arises,
contact our service office of Hitachi

representative.
The Auto Sipper tab
does not appear in
the measurement
condition setting.
(1) The
Auto
Sipper
connection cord is not
plugged.
(2) Reason other than (1).
(1) Install the connection cord between the
Auto Sipper and the main unit according
to the procedure described in “1.3
Mounting Auto Sipper in Sample
Compartment” of this instruction manual.
(2) Turn OFF the power switch and turn On

The sipping operation
does not cause the
peristaltic pump to
work.

not been installed
correctly.
(2) The coupling shaft is
not attached.

manual.
