collecting complete memory dump" and set it.
(*2) The boot volume is a volume that contains Windows® files and Windows® support files.
Although the scope of failure analysis can vary depending on the type of memory dump file,
for this device, we recommend setting "kernel memory dump" for Windows® Embedded
Standard 7 and "Automatic memory dump" for Windows® 10 from the viewpoint of securing
disk space. The recommended settings for memory dump and virtual memory (page file) in
this equipment are as follows. These settings are preset when the equipment is shipped from
the factory.

System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings in the Control panel

In the Startup and Recovery , Kernel memory dump is selected as memory dump type.

In the Startup and Recovery , Overwrite any existing file is selected.
・
In the Performance , the Initial size and Maximum size of the virtual memory is the
physical memory size plus 300MB.

System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings in the Control panel

In the Startup and Recovery , Automatic memory dump is selected as memory dump
type.

In the Startup and Recovery , Overwrite any existing file is selected.
・
In the Startup and Recovery , Disable automatic deletion of memory dumps when
disk space is low is selected.
・
In the Performance , Automatically manage paging file size for all drives is selected.
・
In the Performance , System managed size is selected.
When an incident occurs that triggers a memory dump, the process that collecting a memory
dump is started after the window called “blue screen” is displayed.
