As mentioned above, in Windows® Embedded Standard 7, some features that were available in
Windows® 7 are unsupported. On the other hand, the embedded enabling feature (EEF) that is
not found in regular Windows® 7 is prepared, and the following filter features can be used with
this equipment.

HORM(EWF)
It is a feature to redirect writing to storage to RAM
and protect the storage contents on a sector unit.
It can also be used to reduce the number of write
times of mSATA SSD.
This equipment can not be used in hibernation mode
because the hibernation status is not supported.

File-Based Write Filter
(FBWF)
It is a feature to redirect writing to storage to RAM
and protect the storage contents on a sector unit.
It can also be used to reduce the number of write

Registry Filter
It is a feature that makes it possible to write to
specific registry even when using No.1 and No.2
filter features.

Keyboard Filter
It blocks the specific key input of the keyboard.
