4. Reset the enclosure by issuing the command ipmiutil reset –N <IP ADDRESS> –U <USERNAME> –P
<PASSWORD> -c.
The system power off and restart.

CFUFlash Overview
Celestica Firmware Upgrade Flash (CFUFlash) is a tool that is used to flash firmware updates onto the
enclosure through the use of a CLI. The firmware updates my be completed using KCS, USB, and LAN
connections through a CLI on either a Linux or Windows machine. Once in the CLI, the command, options,
and mediums are the same for both OSes.
4.5.1
Accessing CFUFlash
1. Download the latest version of CFUFlash that supports CFUFlash standard version 2.0.
2. Unzip the contents of the CFUFlash to the laptop being used.
3. Launch a command line interface by doing one of the following:
• For Linux OS: Launch a Terminal by clicking Applications > Accessories > Terminal.
• For Windows OS: Launch a Command Prompt by clicking Start > Command Prompt.
4. From the Terminal or Command Prompt, navigate to the directory where the CFUFlash executable is
located.

Updating BIOS Firmware using CFUFlash
1. Launch a command line interface by doing one of the following:
• For Linux OS: Launch a Terminal by clicking Applications > Accessories > Terminal.
• For Windows OS: Launch a Command Prompt by clicking Start > Command Prompt.
2. From the Terminal or Command Prompt, navigate to the directory where the CFUFlash executable is
located.
3. Update the BIOS firmware by issuing the command Cfuflash –nw –ip <IP ADDRESS> –u <USERNAME>
–p <PASSWORD> <FILENAME>.bin –preserve-config -d 2.
