Setting value
Description
Figure 7.86
Existing temperature
Display value
Display of the temperature in °C of the
preceding
module
(e.g.
buffer
top
temperature by the buffer)
Required temperature
Display value
Display of the required temperature in °C
of the downstream module (e.g. buffer)
The required temperature is those
temperature which the preceding
module must make the downstream
module available
Zone valve
Display value
Indication of the state (ON/OFF) of the
zone valve
Figure 7.87
Switch on barrier
Setting value
Setting the switch on barrier in °C for the
zone valve:
Is the temperature of the preceding
module (e.g. buffer top temperature
by the buffer) higher than the
adjusted switch on barrier, the zone
valve is open. Is this not the case,
the zone valve stays closed.
Temp. increase
Setting value
Adjusting the temperature increase for
the required temperature
Due to power loss you can adjust an
addition to the required temperature
of the downstream module
Figure 7.88
Zone valve OPEN*
Display value
Indication of the state of the zone valve:
When the indicator lamp lights up
the zone valve is open

External requirement
The external requirement module provides an interface to an external foreign control loop (e.g. central
building control system). The requirement, which can be digital or analog, is registered as a required
temperature (e.g. boiler must temperature by the boiler or buffer top temperature by the buffer) in the heat
supplier (e.g. boiler or buffer).
External requirement over the digital input:
By digital requirement the external must temperature, which can be adjusted in Figure 7.93, is registered at
the heat supplier.
External requirement over the analog input:
By analog requirement a calculated (=linearly interpolated) temperature, which can be adjusted by the
parameters in Figure 7.95 resp. Figure 8.1, is registered at the heat supplier. To understand this Figure 8.2 is
used.
