Cleaning the
contacts
•
Dampen the cleaning cloth with a small amount of alcohol.
•
Do NOT bring the alcohol in contact with the nozzle plate (see
Figure 53)!
•
Carefully wipe the contacts with the cloth.
•
Check if all contacts are free of ink stains. If not, continue wiping
the contacts until all are shiny and stain free.
•
Optional: To check if all contacts are completely clean, use the
following menu:

. If this
test shows
MISSING DOTS: no
for each cartridge, the contacts are
completely clean. For a more detailed description of the menu
refer to the section Cartridges, on page 66 of this manual.
