1. If the Smartive monitor is to be fed with a power source (F1350 GUINAZ), connect the ground cables
(black) to the power connector upper terminal and the voltage (red) to the power connector lower terminal.
If the system is powered by PoE, this connection is not necessary.
2. To connect the Smartive monitor to the network, insert the RJ45 red cable to the RJ45 jack available. If
the system is powered by PoE, the network cable must be connected to the other end of a PoE switch or
injector
To verify that the power has been correctly connected, check that the display is on and it shows the
GUINAZ main menu.
2.2 Wall Base and Smartive 7" Monitor Installation
Once the power and data network connections have been completed, the Smartive interior monitor will be
fastened to a wall base provided with the installation kit so it can be fixed to the wall. Follow the process
described below.
It is recommended to install the monitors in locations where the calls can be heard throughout the home
and away from heat sources (radiators, heaters, etc.) or harsh environments (kitchen, etc.).

Place the wall base on the wall using 4 lag screws.
Crimp the RJ45 cable connection and, in case of using a power
cable, leave it exposed.

Connect the SMARTIVE monitor.
