Influence of the Outside Temperature on
Alarm Limits:
The outside temperature probe can be used to prevent false
temperature alarms that are due to warm weather conditions.
When the outside temperature is already warmer than the high
alarm limit, the controller automatically changes this alarm limit.
The high alarm limit becomes the
outside temperature plus offset
.
In other words, when the outside temperature is too warm, the high
temperature alarm only sounds if the room temperature exceeds
the outside temperature by more than X degrees. The following
graph illustrates this situation.
NOTE : No matter what the outside temperature is, the room
temperature must never exceed the critical temperature.
