Temperature Alarms
The controller can monitor temperature alarms coming from the
reading of an individual temperature probe or coming from the
average reading of a combination of probes.
CAUTION:
When temperature alarms are based on the
average reading of a probe set, a defective probe may distort
the average temperature reading without causing a temperature
alarm.
When the temperature exceeds the high temperature alarm setting,
a high temperature alarm sets off; likewise, a low temperature
alarm sets off when the temperature decreases below the low
temperature alarm setting. Although these settings are entered by
the user as absolute values, they are defined based on the room
set point. This means they are thus automatically adjusted when
the set point changes.
