VENTILATION CONTROL
Minimum Ventilation
Minimum ventilation cycles are activated when the ambient
temperature gets lower than the set point. Running the fans even
though ventilation is not required for reducing the room
temperature is useful to reduce humidity levels and supply oxygen
to the room. It also prevents the fans from freezing in winter.
Minimum Ventilation Fans:
Minimum ventilation cycles are provided by the fans of a chosen
stage. This way, the inlet opening is always defined with respect to
the fan stage in use.
During a minimum ventilation cycle, all the fans belonging to the
minimum ventilation fan stage run in timer mode (On Time & Off
Time). These cycles are repeated until the room temperature
reaches the start temperature of this stage.
NOTE:
The controller supplies maximum voltage to the
variable-speed fans for 2 seconds immediately following each
start-up.
Minimum Ventilation Stage:
When you select the minimum ventilation fan stage, the controller
automatically changes the start temperature of this stage: the start
temperature of the minimum ventilation stage takes the value of
the temperature set point. Consequently, the start temperature of
all subsequent fan stages are shifted forward.
