Section 6 — L-S Series Panel Operation
Un-protecting or Unlocking a Destination
The panel that originally imposed a protect or lock on a Destination can
clear those states for that Destination.
1.
Confirm the desired Destination appears in the Destination window. If
not, see
Selecting a Destination to be Controlled
on page 135
. The Lock/
Protect button will blink when the Destination has been protected or
locked by that panel.
2.
Press the
Protect/Lock
button once (protected Destination) or twice
(locked Destination). That button will stop blinking and the
Take
button
will illuminate.
3.
Press
Take
. The Destination’s protect or lock state will be cleared.
Sequence (Salvo) Switching
After a sequence is created and downloaded (see
Setting Up a Salvo with a
Sequence Set
on page 62
) it can be executed as follows:
1.
Press
Select
. The display windows will display various modes.
2.
Rotate the selector knob to choose
Sequence?
and press
Select
.
3.
Use the knob to scroll through the sequences displayed in the Preset the
window.
4.
When the desired sequence is selected, press
Take
. All the Destinations
in the sequence will be switched to their designated Sources.
The panel remains in Sequence select mode, allowing you to scroll to
and select other sequences to execute.
5.
To exit Sequence select mode, press the
Clear
button.
Override Mode
Override function is used for a quick or emergency switch to an often-used
Source. For example, a Black signal could be defined as the first “override”
Source for a particular control panel, corresponding to the first override
soft button position. Override names can be customized if desired. Each
override can be configured to switch any desired combination of router
levels.
If no overrides are defined for the panel, a
No Overrides Configured
message
will be displayed when you try to access the mode.
