Section 11 — LCD Series Panel Operation
Selecting the Source using the Category Entry Method
Follow these steps to select a Source using the Category Entry method:
1.
Press the category name and then scroll through the available Source
using the Scroll wheel.
2.
Select the entry number by pressing the Source button.
3. Press the Take button. The panel will then immediately revert back to
the previous mode. For example, the Level mode.
Select Sequence Mode
A sequence or a salvo, is the switching of one or more Sources to one or more
Destinations with a single button press. Sequences can be done at any time,
regardless of which mode the panel is in.
Note The Select Sequence mode requires that a least one sequence is assigned
using the Jupiter configuration.
Follow these steps to select a
sequence
or a salvo:
1. Press the Scroll wheel to go to the Main menu.
2. Press the Select Sequence? button. The Sequence menu will then appear.
These buttons will be pink and the name of the sequence will be on line
#2.
3. Select the preferred Sequence; use the Scroll wheel to cycle through all
the available “sequence” pages as needed. The panel will return to the
last selected mode.
Select Override Mode
An Override is used to perform a pre-defined Take. The Take can include
Input, Output and Levels. Overrides can be done at any time, regardless of
which mode the panel is in.
Note The Select Override mode requires that a least one override is assigned using
the Jupiter configuration.
Follow these steps to select an Override:
1. Press the Scroll wheel to go to the Main menu.
2. Press the
Select Override?
button. The Override menu will then appear.
These buttons will be blue and the name of the override will be on line
#2.
3.
Select the preferred Override; use the Scroll wheel as needed.
