Horizon Form #4
Use Form #4 as a guide for inputting which solenoids
to turn on and which meter counts the pulses when
dispensing specified fluids at specified dispense points.
Assign Connections
NOTE:
D
The combined designation of the dispense area and
fluid number is called the
dispense point
.
D
The dispense point [dispense area 1 (DA01) and
fluid number 1 (FL01)] appears in the first row on
the Assign Connection (ASSGN CONN) screen.
D
An ASSGN CONN screen will appear for each
dispense point that was entered when the informa-
tion from Forms #2 and #3 was entered.
D
Port numbers 1 to 6 are available for solenoids.
1. The cursor will be in the Air Solenoid: Control
Module (AIR SOL: CM) field.
2. Type the number of the control module that con-
trols the air solenoid for this dispense point. Take
this information from Form #4. In this example the
entry would be CM01, taken from
CM1
/1 on the
form.
NOTE:
The air solenoid can be assigned a value of
zero (CM00) if an air solenoid is not used at this dis-
pense point.
3. Press ENTER on the keypad.
4. The cursor moves to the PORT field. In this exam-
ple the entry would be PORT1, taken from CM1/
1
on Form #4.
5. Type the port number and press ENTER on the
keypad.
6. Cursor moves to the Fluid Solenoid: Control Mod-
ule (FLD SOL: CM) field.
7. Type the number of the control module that con-
trols the fluid solenoid for this dispense point. In
this example the entry would be CM02, taken from
CM2
/1 on the Form #4.
8. Press ENTER on the keypad.
9. The cursor moves to the PORT field. In this exam-
ple the entry would be PORT1, taken from CM2/
1
on Form #4.
10. Type the port number and press ENTER on the
keypad.
11. Cursor moves to the Meter Number (MTR#) field.
12. Type the number of the meter for this dispense
point, as shown on the floor plan. The meters
should be assigned consecutive numbers, starting
with number 1. The meters you enter will display
(when calibrating the meter) in the order they were
entered. The actual addresses for the meter will be
entered on a later screen.
13. Press ENTER on the keypad.
14. When the cursor is at MORE, press ENTER to
repeat the screen for each valid dispense point.
15. When all the connections for each dispense point
have been assigned, use the
#
or
"
key to move
the cursor to EXIT and press ENTER.
NOTE:
If you enter MORE after all the data has been
entered, the screen will scroll back to DA01 FL01. Use
the arrow keys to move the cursor to EXIT.
16. After EXIT is entered, the SAVE SETUP verifica-
tion screen will appear.
17. Scroll to YES by pressing the
#
or
"
key.
18. Press ENTER on the keypad to save the setup
options and go to the METER CALIBRATION
screen.
