3 Liability
The operator is liable for any failure to comply with the instruction manual. The
manufacturer is not liable for damages to the device or its accessory that occur as
a result of misuse by the operator or failure to comply with the instruction manual.
Any conversions or changes to the device or the component parts without the
manufacturer’s prior approval are strictly forbidden and do not fall under the
manufacturer’s liability.

This instruction manual is protected by the copyright of the Elektro-Thermit GmbH
& Co. KG. This document may not, in whole or in parts, be copied or revealed to
third parties, without prior consent, in writing, from Elektro-Thermit & Co. KG.
5 Defects liability
The statutory warranty period applies. You have the right to a defect-free replace-
ment in the case of defects in the device or its accessories which were not caused by
misuse or any use to the contrary of the device’s intended purpose, but for which the
manufacturer is clearly responsible. Wear and tear damages from normal use of the
device are excluded from the warranty.
