After disconnecting line power, reconnect the sensor(s)
directly to the analyzer (purposely bypassing the inter-
connect cable and junction box, if used).
2.
Place the sensor(s) in a container of known value con-
ductivity reference solution that is at room temperature.
3.
Reconnect line power to the analyzer.
WARNING:
LINE POWER IS PRESENT. BE CAREFUL TO
AVOID ELECTRICAL SHOCK.
4.
Verify that the analyzer reading is the same as the
known reference solution value. If the reading is
achieved, the interconnect cable and/or junction box
connections are probably faulty. Use a digital multime-
ter to check the interconnect cable for shorted or open
wires.
