After choosing the measurement, select the desired MEAS-
URE screen display format. The selected units and resolu-
tion will also appear on all applicable edit/selection screens.
The nominal cell constant of a sensor determines the sen-
sor’s inherent measuring range. Table A lists cell constants
and their respective measuring ranges. When configuring
the measuring units and display resolution for your applica-
tion, make sure they are within the sensor’s inherent listed
range. If not, choose a sensor with the appropriate constant.

To determine which cell constant to use, convert the
full-scale TDS value to its equivalent conductivity
value at 25

C. Do this by multiplying the TDS value
by “2.” Then find the range in the Conductivity col-
umn corresponding to the calculated value. The cell
constant to use is in that row.
