SET TRANSFER
Value (mA)
SET FILTER Time
Each analog output is normally active (responds to the
measured value of its assigned parameter). However, dur-
ing calibration you can transfer (XFER) each output to a
preset value to operate a control element by an amount cor-
responding to that value.
To set a mA transfer value for an analog output to suit your
application:
1.
With the
6(7 P$ 9$/8(

screen displayed, use

key
to select the “SET TRANSFER” line.
2.
Press
ENTER key
to display a screen like
. Use
arrow keys
to set the displayed
value to the desired mA transfer value, and press
ENTER key
to enter the value.
A time constant (in seconds) can be set to filter or “smooth
out” the output signal. A minimum value of “0 seconds” has
no smoothing effect. A maximum value of “60 seconds” pro-
vides maximum smoothing. Deciding what output filter time
to use is a compromise. The higher the filter time, the longer
the output signal response time will be to a change in the
measured value.
