Operating the Comfort Mobile Unit
Locking
By defining authorization for each registrated mobile unit you determine which internal sub-
scriber is permitted to make external, toll calls.
When delivered the device is capable of being used freely on outside lines.
1. Full external authorization
(= default setting)
The phone can be used for incoming and outgoing external calls.
2. Incoming authorization
The phone can only be used for receiving incoming calls. All attempts to dial externally will
be blocked.
3. Internal authorization
The phone can be used for internal calls only. All external dialing procedures are blocked. You
can initiate a consultation call to an internal only subscriber, but you cannot accept the exter-
nal call and will receive a call back.
1. In the non-active mode press the
ß
key and select “Service“ from the main menu.
2. In the service menu select “System settings“ and enter the system code (default setting
0000) (see also page 133).
After entering the correct system code the
following menu is displayed:
Scroll the menu with NEXT...
until “Equipment data“ is in the 1st line and
then select with OK.
Scroll the menu with NEXT...
until “Access rights“ is in the 1st line and
then select with OK.
Scroll with NEXT to select internal subscrib-
ers for whom the authorizations will be set
and
select with OK; here internal subscriber 0.
You can now set authorizations.
