CONFIGURING FLOW PATTERN AND BEHAVIOR OF THE PUMP(S)
Now that the pump has been assigned to a Stream Group, the next step is to configure the flow
pattern/behavior of the pump(s).
1.
Select ENABLED if you want to run the pump(s) at a different flow % at night.
Pump(s) will run at the specified
at night
flow %, between the specified time
ranges.
2.
Select the desired flow MODE.
If you are running a skimmer pump or return pump, we recommend you use
PERMANENT mode. Be sure to set the min/max flow % to the same value to
maintain consistent flow.
If you are running a closed loop pump, Tunze Stream, or another flow pump, we
recommend you take a look at the descriptions of the available MODE options
found on page 34 of our ProfiLux 4 Programming Guide, see
4.5 Current
.
3.
Select the WAVE pattern behavior for the pump(s) in this group.
Right angled waves: Abrupt changes between the Min/Max flow percentages
Sinus wave: Gentle increase/decrease of flow between the Min/Max flow
percentages.
4.
Specify the Min/Max wave duration for the desired WAVE pattern.
More information on this option can be found on page 37 of the ProfiLux 4
Programming Guide, see
4.5.2.4 Wave
.
