IMPORTANT:
No calibration required for
temperature probe
GHL Temperature probes are factory calibrated and do not require further
adjustment. Should you strongly feel the need to adjust the probe reading,
you can do so by clicking ADJUST TEMPERATURE. Only do so IF you have
another probe that you trust more!
Be sure to write down your ADC 1 and ADC 2 values BEFORE making any
adjustments! These numbers can be used to revert back to factory
calibration.

How to setup and assign basic heater function:
To setup basic heater control on your ProfiLux 4, please follow these steps:
CREATING THE FUNCTION
1.
Connect to the ProfiLux 4 using GHL Control Center
2.
Click on the (+) icon to the left of
Probe/sensor controls
and select the desired
TEMPERATURE probe.
3.
Set the desired measurement reading to Fahrenheit.
By default temperature values are displayed in Celsius.
4.
Set the desired NOMINAL VALUE.
This is where you type-in the desired temperature value. For example, if you’d like
to keep your tank temperature close to 78° F, type in 78.
5.
Set the desired HYSTERESIS
The number you enter here will determine how much of a swing you are willing to
allow in-between the nominal value. This determines when the function will be
triggered.
By default, this value is set to 0.20°C or 0.36°F. This value works for most
individuals. If you want a tighter or wider range of control, type in a smaller or
larger value. For more information, see –
GHL Control Center Walkthrough:
Probe/sensor controls - Basics
.
6.
Type-in a description for this probe.
