Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ)
1. Slide the nose support into the support holder.
Use the short version for large and medium
adults and the long version for small adults and
children.
2. Place a piece of hygienic barrier cut from the
chin or temple supports hygienic barrier on to
the nose support.
3. Select the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pro-
gram.
The magnifi cation is 1.25.
4. Select the patient, large, medium or small.
5. Use the cuspid positioning knob and position the
support holder so that it is -5 for a large or me-
dium patient and 0 for a small patient.
