3.2 Taking Exposures
Panoramic adult, child and bitewing
1. Slide the chin rest on to the support holder.
2.
Dentate patients
. Attach the bite guide to the
bite rod and then insert the bite rod and bite
guide into the hole in the chin rest.
Edentulous patients
. Attach the chin support to
the chin rest.
Partially edentulous patients
. Attach the par-
tially edentulous bite positioner to a bite rod
and then insert the bite rod and edentulous bite
positioner into the hole in the chin rest.
