3. Taking an Exposure

17. Press and hold down the exposure button for
the duration of the exposure. During the ex-
posure you will hear an audible signal and the
exposure warning lights will come on. The ro-
tating unit will rotate around the patient’s head
and then stop. When the rotating unit stops, the
exposure has been taken and you can release
the exposure button.
19. Turn the head support knob (
B
) counterclock-
wise to open the temple supports. Press the
release button (
C
) at the top of the head support
and then slide the head support away from the
patient (

).
Guide the patient out of the unit.
