APPENDIX B: RAW DATA FILES TRANSMITTED BY RS-232-C
Data is sent via the unit’s serial link to a printer or a host computer in a standard ASCII format.
The data comes as a stream of unlabelled numbers that varies with the survey mode that was
employed. Slow modes have a more extensive header, including column identifiers. Each case is
described below.

Data taken in mobile mode is sent through the Rs-232 port as follows:
