Engine
Barring engine with starting system
1. Disengage the bayonet ring-nut (4) of connector
X4 with connector pliers (2) and withdraw
connector (3) from ECU.
2. Bar engine in unloaded condition: Press START
button.
3. Let the crankshaft rotate until oil pressure is
indicated.
4. Engine start is automatically interrupted when
specified starting period is expired. If necessary,
re-start the engine after approx. 20 seconds.
5. Plug connector X4 (3) and use connector pliers
(2) to secure the bayonet ring (4) by turning it
clockwise until it latches into place.

Engine test run
DANGER
Unguarded rotating and moving engine components.
Risk of serious injury
danger to life!
Before barring or starting the engine, ensure that nobody is in the danger zone.
WARNING
Engine noise above 85 dB (A).
Risk of damage to hearing!
Wear ear protectors.
Engine test run
1. Start engine ( Page 3 2).
2. Perform test run at not below 1/3 load and at least until steady-state temperature is reached.
3. Carry out operational checks ( Page 3 4).
4. Stop engine ( Page 3 5).
