Maintenance

Remove the printer motor and gear assembly.

See

“Removing the Printer Motor and Gear Assembly” on page 95

for instructions.

Remove the two fasteners on each end of the printer module assembly, as
shown in the following photographs.

Holding each end of the printer module assembly, gently push out the end
pieces and use your middle fingers to slide the crossbar toward you, as shown
in the following photograph.

After it clears the end pieces, remove the crossbar with the two paper sensors,
as shown in the following photograph.

Replacing the Paper Sensor

Use the following procedure to replace the paper sensor on the printer module
assembly.

Position the new crossbar with the two paper sensors over the printer module
assembly, as shown in the following photograph.
