2.4.5 Cable Check
1. Press the black
Menu key
.
2. You are in the Main menu.
3. Move the scroll bar with the
Modification knob
to Cable Check.
4. Confirm by pressing the white
Softkey
[Continue].
5. Proceed as shown in the display:
Please check that nobody is connected to the device! Connect cable (patient cable) to be tested into a
black and a white plug of the distribution panel.
6. Press the white
Softkey
[Continue].
7. To select channel, please turn the knob below the display.
8. Press the white
Softkey
[Start test].
9. Move and twist the cable at all parts in order to detect a weak connection or disruption.
10. If the cable and all connections are okay, the message OK is displayed after 10 seconds.
11. Otherwise Error is displayed. The patient cable is defective, please replace it.
12. The distribution cable can also be tested:
Please use a patient cable, proved to be OK.
Use this cable for testing other distribution cables. If the message Error is displayed, the distribution
cable is damaged and must be replaced.
13. Exit the Menu Cable Check by pressing the black
Menu key
[Return].
14. On the display the Main menu appears again.
15. Exit the Main menu by pressing the black
Menu key
[Return].
16. On the display the Overview appears again.
2.5 Intensity monitoring
During the development of the

we have endeavored not only to offer you a High Tone Power
Therapy device of a new generation with regard to its efficiency and operatability, but also to set new
standards with regard to the patient’s safety.
Intensity increase at open circuits
, i.e. no patient is connected to the device:
If the initial voltage is increased at open circuit and no current is measured, the channel will be switched off
for the patient´s safety. An acoustic signal is given and a message will be displayed: Please check that the
electrodes and cables of channel N have good contact.

intensity anew.
