STORAGE
WARNING:
Young children must be supervised that they do not play with
the appliance or any part of it.
When the appliance will not be in use for a longer
period of time, always switch OFF (standby mode; control panel is dark) and there-
after, unplug the appliance. Wait until the appliance cooled down completely
before cleaning and storing the appliance.
CAUTION:
Ensure to store the appliance where it is clean, dry and safe from
frost, direct sunlight and inadmissible strain (mechanical or electric shock, heat,
moisture) and where it is
out of reach of young children
. Do not place any hard
or heavy foreign objects on or in the appliance or any part of it. Place the oven
on the storing place first, thereafter insert the accessories.
Do not place any
objects on the heating elements of the oven.
Do not use any parts or accessories of the appliance for any other purpose than
operating the appliance.
Always handle power cords with special care. Power cords may never be knotted,
twisted, pulled, strained, or squeezed.
1. Clean the appliance and all its parts before storing to avoid accumulation of
dried-on food (see: ‘Care and Cleaning’).
2. Grasp the appliance on both sides at the bottom of the housing and place the
appliance in on a level, clean and stable surface, where it cannot fall.
3. Insert the grilling rack in the bottom shelf slot and place the pizza stone, grilling
spit, and the handles for baking pan/grilling rack and grilling spit on the grilling
rack. Insert the baking pan in the top shelf slot. Close the oven door.
4. Lay the power cord loosely around the appliance. If you wish to store the oven
for an elongated period of time, it is good advice to leave the oven door open
slightly for avoiding the build-up of unpleasant odours. For this, you may stick a
folded, clean dishcloth between the oven door and the top of the housing.
