3. Ensure that the glass bulb of the light is undamaged to avoid injuries. Then turn
the light counter-clockwise to unscrew it.
Important:
Do not touch the glass bulb of the new light with your hands. Finger
prints on the glass bulb would burn in, blackening the glass and therefore redu-
cing the light yield. For mounting the light you may hold it by a small clean cloth
or kitchen towel.
4. Ensure that your replacement light is of the correct type: 25 W; suitable for high
temperature application (see: ‘Technical Specifications’).
5. Turn the replacement light clockwise to screw it hand-tight into the socket of the
oven lamp.
6. Ensure that the glass cover of the oven lamp is completely undamaged. The-
re may be no chipped edges or cracks.
Otherwise, due to the temperature
variations in the oven, splinters could fall out and get into your food.
7. Turn the glass cover clockwise to remount it. The glass cover must be fixed hand-
tight to ensure that it will not get loose due to temperature variations.
Thereafter the oven lamp should be in proper working order again. If not, get in
contact with an authorized service centre.
