Problem
Possible Reason
The Solution
Your food is not cooked
evenly. There are some
parts over-cooked and/or
other parts are still rare.
Your food is placed too
near to the heating ele-
ments.
Always ensure to keep an appropriate distance of at least
3 cm (1 - 2 inches) to the heating elements. Depending on
the set temperature and type of food, you should leave even
more free space. If acceptable, activate the convection fan.
Your food is not placed in
the centre of the heating
compartment.
Due to the small heating compartment of the appliance and
the high performance of the heating elements, placing your
food as far as possible in the centre of the oven compart-
ment may be crucial. If some parts at the bottom of your
food are burnt or over-cooked, try to insert the baking pan
below your food additionally, for getting a more even distri-
bution of heat at the bottom.
The convection fan should
be used, but it was idle.
Ensure to activate the convection fan during operation. For
this, observe the fan icon on the display area. Independently
on any fan noise of the oven, the convection fan is activated
only with the fan icon on the display area.
Your pieces of food (e.g.
meat) are too large for
the oven.
• Cut large items to smaller pieces and cook in portions.
• Ensure to centre your food in the oven.
• Ensure to select the required combination of heating ele-
ments (see: ‘Convection Fan and Separately Controlled
Heating Elements’).
• Maybe you should activate the convection fan.
• If some parts at the lower side of your food are burnt or
over-cooked, try to insert the baking pan below your food
additionally, for getting a more even distribution of heat
at the bottom.
• Cook your food with lower temperature settings and
elongated cooking time.
