USEFUL ACCESSORIES
Accessories that are mandatory for using the various features of the oven are part of
the shipping list: baking pan, grilling rack, rotisserie spit, and pizza stone.
For each type of application, pre-defined programs are offered, providing a set of
optimum adjustments (see: ‘Pre-Defined Programs’).
Rotating Rotisserie Spit
For grilling dishes that can be attached to a spit (e.g. whole chicken, shish kebab), the
oven offers a rotor drive for an even browning. Attach your food to the rotisserie spit
and fix your food via the assigned clamps. Thereafter connect the spit to the rotor drive.
You may use the rotisserie spit for all types of dishes that can be attached securely
to the spit and will not fall apart during cooking, such as whole poultry that will fit
into the oven without touching the heating elements (e.g. chicken, duck).
For using the rotisserie spit effectively, you must select the program Chicken. With
this program, the rotor drive will turn slowly during the complete cooking time, ensu-
ring to cook your food evenly (see: ‘Grilling via the Rotisserie Spit’).
Pizza Stone
Special requirements must be met for baking pizza, if you wish to get a crispy pizza
base and juicy top. The provided pizza stone will support the pre-defined program
Pizza perfectly.
Handles for the Grilling Rack, Baking Pan, and Rotisserie Spit
For removing the baking pan, grilling rack, and rotisserie spit from the hot oven, you
should use the provided handles - especially when cooking at high temperatures.
This way, you can handle your food hygienically and safely.
Important:
Do not use the spit handle for removing the grilling rack or baking pan.
These parts will fall or tilt, when moved with the spit handle.
Hook up the rim of the baking pan or grilling rack with the tray handle. For moving
the spit, lay the spit handle with the hooked ends into the grooves at both sides of
the rotisserie spit.
CAUTION:
To avoid injuries and damage due to hot parts, always ensure to
hook up the handles securely and take care when moving hot parts. We strongly
recommend to use oven gloves for moving hot parts, and support the parts with
the other hand, while holding them with the handle. When holding the parts tilted,
the food could fall down. Additionally, the baking pan could slip out of the handle.
