convection fan can be activated additionally.
Note
An important part of the heat transfer to your food is carried out via direct thermal
radiation from the heating elements. The convection fan has no influence on this
effect. Thus, despite of using the convection fan, it is crucial to keep a sufficient
distance to the heating elements to get an even browning.
PAUSE FUNCTION
Using the pause function, you can interrupt operation at any time. When paused,
the cooking time stops, the heating elements keep switched off and the rotor turning
the rotisserie spit stops. After pre-heating, use this function to place the baking pan/
grilling rack / rotisserie spit holding your food into the oven. Additionally you should
pause operation for checking the consistency of your food (see: ‘Operation / Inter-
rupting or Cancelling the Cooking Process’). What's more, after activating the pause
function, you can change the temperature and cooking time without cancelling the
program (see: ‘Operation / Modifying the Settings after Starting the Oven’).
DISPLAYED VALUES AND ICONS
Just as a smart phone, the control panel including all operating elements of the oven
is completely covered by a smooth transparent sheet - without any grooves or gaps.
Thus, cleaning is done in a rush (see: ‘Care and Cleaning’). To select the desired
functions and values, only slightly touch the appropriate button.
Display Area
The upper third of the control panel holds the values and icons indicating your selections.
When touching the timer icon or temperature icon at the key area, the corresponding
value in the display area starts flashing to show that this value will be set when touching
the selection buttons < or >. In operation mode (an oven program is running), the
remaining cooking time will be shown as a count down.
Program Area
In this section, the name of the selected, pre-defined oven program is displayed. Use
the selection buttons to switch over to the next entry in the list.
Key Area
In the lower third of the control panel, the touch screen holding the operating ele-
ments is arranged. For controlling the oven, slightly touch the required icon (“button”).
