Always ensure that the appliance is out of reach of young children.
Always switch off the appliance (press stArt/cANcel button), then unplug the
appliance, before moving or cleaning the appliance. Do not hold your fingers or
any foreign objects into the grinding chamber, or attempt to move the appliance or
disassemble or reassemble any parts of the grinder with the appliance connected
to the power supply.
Hygienic cleaning is done via the steps given in the following instructions. ensu-
re to protect the base, power cord, and power plug against splashing water and
moisture. Do not immerse the base, or power cord in water or any other liquid, to
avoid hazards due to electric shock and damage. Do not spill or drip any liquids
on the base and power cord to avoid risk of fire and electric shock.
Do not clean
the appliance, or power cord, or any of the parts or accessories in an
automatic dishwasher!
Do not use any violence. Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaners or cleaning
pads (e.g. metal scouring pads) for cleaning the appliance or any parts of it, to avo-
id damage to the surfaces.

hopper are absolutely dry, before reassembling the coffee grinder.
emPtYing the Bean hOPPer anD grinDing chamBer
1. remove the lid of the bean hopper and turn the lock in the middle of the bean
hopper counter-clockwise until a click sounds. remove the bean hopper from the
coffee grinder.
2. Hold the bean hopper over your coffee bean container and turn the lock clock-
wise to release the beans into the container. turn the bean hopper lock counter-
clockwise to the “uNlocK” position.
3. replace the bean hopper onto the grinder and turn the bean hopper lock clock-
wise to “locK”.
4. Hold the stArt/cANcel button pressed until the grinder is empty.
cleaning the aPPliance
imPOrtant:
Moisture within the grinding chamber will cause the coffee powder to
lump, thus clogging the grinder. therefore, avoid using water or any other liquid to
clean the grinding chamber or any part of it. only use a dry, clean brush to remove
any residues of coffee grind.
regular cleaning prevents residues of coffee grinds from getting stale within the
grinder. Additionally, it helps the burrs achieve consistent grinding results, which is
especially important when grinding for espresso.
