[TX Power]
When using more than one fish finder with the same frequency, in
close proximity, interference can occur. To reduce the interference,
you can reduce the transmission power by lowering this setting. To
disable this fish finder, set this item to [Off].
[TX Freq]
Shifts the frequency slightly when interference from other sonars or
fish finders occur.
[TX Pulse]
Sets the TX pulse length. A short pulse offers better resolution while
longer pulses give better long-range detection.
[Envelope Edge
Width]
Suppresses interference to acoustic equipment such as fish finders
and scanning sonars, etc. (your own and others).
[RX Band]
Sets the RX band width. The choices are [Narrow], [Std], [Wide], or
[Manual].
[RX Band Width]
Set the RX band width manually, when [RX Band] is set to [Manual].
[TX Cycle]
Changes the rate at which the echo sounder transmits a pulse. Ad-
just this setting to erase false seabed echoes which may appear be-
tween the surface and the actual seabed. This item cannot be
changed (it is greyed out) when the TX cycle is automatically select-
ed or the TX pulse width is 100 msec or less.

Deep Mode
] (The following items are valid when [Deep Mode] in the [TX/RX] menu is
set to [Auto].)
[TX Power]
When using more than one fish finder with the same frequency, in
close proximity, interference can occur. To reduce the interference,
you can reduce the transmission power by lowering this setting. To
disable this fish finder, set this setting to [Off].
[TX Freq]
Sets the TX frequency. Shift the frequency slightly when interfer-
ence from other sonars or fish finders occur.
[Deep Mode 1]
[Frequency Sweep Width]: Frequency sweeping (modulating the
frequency around the center frequency) makes the echo sounder
less susceptible to noise and makes it easier to detect long distanc-
es. If the sweep width is too wide, the frequency range to be used
is widened, making the sounder susceptible to interference with
other equipment.
[TX Pulse]: Set the TX pulse length. A short pulse offers better res-
olution while longer pulses give better long-range detection
[TX Cycle]: If interference appears on the display, adjust this item
to reduce the interference.
